Hi, my name is Anna Gast. I'm a wife, mom, Nanna, and dog mom. For more than 40 years, I have dedicated my life to my marriage and the raising of three beautiful, compassionate, intelligent women. I am blessed with four grandchildren from my oldest daughter.

I am a semi-retired special education teacher who obtained my degree from the University of GA. Now that I am retiring, I am passionate about crafting a life that cultivates joy and love - not just in my life, but for others - for me, that means spending time with my family and dogs while pursuing hobby breeding of AKC collies.

Collies and shelties have always had a special place in my heart, and have always been the breed of choice when choosing a pet. I bred my first litter of collies back in 1980 and have dreamed of making a part-time business of breeding an occasional healthy litter. I have officially began pursuing this dream again with my second litter in 2022, and my third litter in spring of 2023.

As of now, I own one female blue merle collie and two color-headed white male collies. My female Cadence has had two beautiful litters with Sir Almonso. I plan on adding another female collie to our family soon.

I consider myself to be a hobby breeder who wants to better the breed by health testing the dogs that I breed with recommended tests from the American Collie Association. I want to educate myself as much as possible about breeding, showing, and agility classes, and possibly start showing in AKC dog shows in the very near future.

I have always loved animals, owning dogs and horses most of my life. As of right now, we own three collies and five horses. We showed miniature horses for many years, with my youngest daughter winning titles.
